Obituary For Luca Love

Luca Love (aka Jonathan Jackson), a proud father of five and lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2026, following an automobile accident. He was 43 years old.

Luca is survived by his parents, Daniel and Deborah Jackson; his siblings, Daniel, Timothy, and Michelle Jackson. And his 5 children, Cameron Sparman, Dawn, Chris, Ellie, and Cole Jackson.

Born on September 19, 1982, Luca was homeschooled through graduation. On June 14, 2001, he began the journey of fatherhood — with the birth of his first child, Cameron with Amy Sparman. Later, he married Cassandra Jackson, and together they welcomed four more children. Luca was very proud of his 5 children.

Luca found joy in photographing sunsets, forming new friendships, and embracing his competitive spirit through games. Thoughtful and deeply curious, Luca loved spirited debates and had a genuine interest in understanding human nature. He always saw the best in people and enjoyed deep conversations. His presence, humor, and perspective left a lasting impression on the many people fortunate enough to know him.

Luca will be deeply missed by his family, his vast circle of friends, and all whose lives he touched.

A celebration of Luca’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday May 17, 2026, at the Bellingham Yacht Club located at 2625 S Harbor Loop Dr, Bellingham WA.

There will be a time to share memories of Luca. A meal of sandwiches, sides, and desserts will be provided. Those who wish are welcome to bring a dish or dessert to share as we gather to celebrate Luca together.
