Gregg Anthony Moon, beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin and nephew, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2026, at the age of 32, following complications related to severe autism, and a seizure disorder.
Gregg was born on May 4, 1994, and grew up in Bellingham, Washington, where he was surrounded by the love of his family. In recent years, Gregg lived in a supportive group home in Ferndale, Washington.
Though his severe autism spectrum disorder meant that Gregg moved through life with few spoken words, those who knew him well understood him just by seeing the brightness of his eyes, and the joy he found in many simple things.
Gregg Anthony also loved the water. Whether swimming or riding on a boat, there was no place he seemed more at peace. He loved feeling the sun and breeze while riding along in his family’s boat.
Gregg will be remembered for his fondness for things he could spin, chips and salsa, and the color yellow, especially for his shirts. Most of all, Gregg loved his family and caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a Seattle based foundation within the Seattle Children’s Research Institute, called FamilieSCN2A, which supports research into autism, epilepsy, and related therapies. https://www.scn2a.org/donate/
