Kelsy Rae Logan passed away in Ferndale, WA on August 1st, 2025. Kelsy was born on August 1st, 1991 in Lihue, HI.
Kelsy spent her early childhood years on the Island of Kauai where she enjoyed a relaxed island lifestyle with Ohana. At 13 months old, she learned to wear shoes in the aftermath of Hurricane Iniki. At 17 months she was swimming and deep diving for quarters. She sang and danced her way through life. She was our sunshine. After relocating to the PNW, Kelsy continued being active. She loved her FHS soccer team. She also tried her hand at skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and even hot air ballooning.
She graduated from Ferndale High and continued her education in Astoria, Oregon before attending Western Iowa Tech College to study and receive certifications in the HVAC trade.
She enjoyed people and continually adapted to new environments. She brought joy to us and so many others along the way. She had a stunning sense of humor and a creative, innovative approach to life.
During her lifetime, she sustained many injuries resulting in chronic pain and fear. For years she fought the good fight to be free of those things. During those times she showed faith, courage, and determination. She valued tradition, loyalty, and family.
She loved her emotional support dogs over the years: Jake, Moki, Blue and the Pug, Bruno.
Kelsy is preceded in death by her aunt Barbara.
Kelsy is survived by her loving parents, Scott and Lynn Logan, aunts and uncles Jeanne Baker, Marti Mount, Greg Mincheff, Kent Logan, Brian Logan, Gregg Logan, and their families, and her cousins Stephanie Mount, Patricia McAnany, Ken Logan, Kevin Logan, Hunter Logan, and Rex Logan.
